BELCANDO® puppy milk is a particularly good soluble powdered milk.
Feed in cases of:
- raising motherless puppies
- illness or lack of milk of the mother
- for relief of mothers of large litters
- Also suitable as preparatory food for the pregnant bitch
- Two weeks before the litter is born 50 – 100 ml of BELCANDO® puppy milk can be added to normal food every day.
Feeding recommendation
BELCANDO® puppy milk is a particularly good soluble powdered milk. The milk powder is dissolved in warm water (50-60°C) in a proportion of 1 part milk powder to 2 parts water (1 measuring cup milk powder = 25 ml in 50 ml water produces 75 ml solution. Add the powder to the warm water, not vice versa!). The daily requirement of the puppies is approximately 15 ml solution per 100g body weight, divided into up to eight meals. Feed the prepared milk solution at body temperature (38 °C). If the milk has cooled down, rewarm it! Feed the prepared milk solution within one hour.
